Captains Janice and Ken Deaton report from Harbor Beach
The storms we just had have the fish scattered a bit, and there are some fly hatching going on right now so the fish are not on the bite good. Hopefully they will start up again right away. Try some Dodgers with spin and glows and clean spoons close to the bottom for the Lake Trout. Also some spoons on the downriggers top to bottom will work well, try some mixed colors.
Put some bright colored spoons out on the Offshore boards with the 3,5,7,and 10 colored lead lines for the Steelhead. They should be around the color lines on the lake.
You might want to try casting some small body baits off the wall for some walleye in the late evening hours. Perch colors should work good for you.
Hope you have a great holiday weekend, stay safe.
Keep those lines tight,
Captains Ken and Janice Deaton
