Port Captain Bill Myers Reports From Gladstone in the UP
Cold front moving through, last two days were a little slow. Walleye were pushed to the south end of the bay. The best depth of water seem to be 15 to 18 feet on crank baits.
The Larson family came to Escanaba to try their hand at a little walleye fishing. After two days of strong north winds at 10 to 20 mph, a cold front sliding through, and no other boats on the lake, it did not look very promising! However, they did manage to put some nice walleye and a brown in the box.
