Capt. Janice Deaton reports from SLH J-Lyn Charters
The rain, storms and wind that have been coming through have scattered
the fish, try starting straight out from the light house and work your
way to the North of the harbor for Lake Trout try using clean spoons off
the downriggers, and dodgers with spin and glows close to the bottom.
Start in 70 foot of water and work your way out to 100 foot.
A few Salmon and Steelhead are still being taken in the 50 to 100 foot
of water areas straight out and North of the harbor, using clean spoons
off the downriggers, fishing 30 to 90 foot down. Best colors have still
been the bright greens and yellows, black with orange, pink, black with
white, and silver. Don”t forget to try some 2, 4, and 10 color lead
lines off the Offshore boards as well with clean spoons.
Keep those lines tight,
Captains Ken and Janice Deaton
