Visit www.mackinacisland.org Mackinac Island State Harbor: 45° 50' 40" N, 84° 36' 42" W offers 76 total slips with 13 seasonal and 63 transient slips. Charter a sailboat and view the Race to Mackinac right from the water. This is the largest freshwater yacht race in the world kicks off courtesy each July of the Chicago Yacht Club & Port Huron Bay View Yacht Club . September 1 Labor Day Regatta Horn's Bar and the Mackinac Island Yacht Club host this wonderful open invitation regatta on the straits. Skippers meeting at 12:30pm at Mackinac Island Yacht Club, race begins at 2pm.
